What is design for screen?

This is another website where the imagery looks almost 3D, such as where the woman has her face pressed up against the window. One of the main things that stood out for me with this website is the navigation, its a little bit different so makes the website more exciting to explore.

What is design for screen?

Artists website.
To view the website you use the arrow keys to control the little person as though being in an actual gallery with the artists work on the walls. To look at the image closer you control the person to walk up to the image.
I love this website because of how interactive it is, it makes the whole viewing experience really creative and exciting. Its an idea that has been considered outside the box.
